Broader component range, placing component sizes from 0201 to 26mm square, as well as area array packages. Advanced direct drive heads for greater throughput and improved positioning accuracy. Linear motor driven feeder carriage for greater precision and accuracy in component pick-up.
- Universal GSM FlexJet Platform Machine
The motor-controlled direct drive placement heads on the 4796 rotate over several turret positions, controlling placement orientation, speed, and accuracy. Direct drive technology does not rely on theta correction mechanisms and metal-to-metal contacts, the machine's uninhibited rotational control and precision linear bearings produce unmatched smoothness and durable operation. This machine can place 48,000 components/hour, with a placement tact time of .10 seconds/components.
